If you've been following some recent posts at the venerable Burning Questions, you'll be happy to know that we are now starting the next phase of FeedBurner integration into Google, right here in our swanky new digs on the Adsense for feeds blog. AdSense for feeds isn't just about earning revenue for your feeds; it's also the starting point for managing syndication and tracking feed analytics. We hope to give you some tips to how to earn the most revenue from your syndicated content, but we'll also be offering tips to help ensure your feeds remain in tip-top shape.
A few months ago, we announced that we would be moving all FeedBurner accounts to Google accounts and we have been steadily doing just that ever since. However, as many of you know, this has been a manual process and has taken some time to smooth out.
Now, we're happy to announce that if you have a valid AdSense account and a FeedBurner account, you should now be able to initiate this account move directly from within your AdSense account. (Moving accounts starting from within FeedBurner.com and FeedBurner.jp to Google will be available soon. We're grinding away on this feature right now.)
Why move? That's the easy part. Moving to a Google account means:
* We can tie your FeedBurner feeds to other Google products and services easily as you see fit
* You can participate in AdSense for feeds
* You will get access to all the new services and publisher tools for syndication we are developing in the future
We will still be contacting FeedBurner publishers by email, based on previous account information you provided that matches information in Google accounts. But if we are not getting to you fast enough, please use the self-serve form to initiate your account move, even if you requested a move at a prior time. This helps us reach as many of you as possible, as there may have been a typo in your request that prevented us from successfully moving your account previously.

Blogger reading list
Note: We are slowly adding this feature for all users, some of the functionality may not be available to all users immediately.) With the Blogger Reading List, you can read all of the latest posts from your favorite blogs right on your Blogger Dashboard! Your Blogger Reading List, conveniently located under your list of blogs on your dashboard, enables you to subscribe to any blog with a feed. It will update instantly each time a new post is published on any blog in your Reading List. Additionally, you can check out our latest Blogger Buzz posts from the "Blogger Buzz" tab, and the latest Blogs of Note from the "Blogs of Note" tab.
It is simple to add a blog to your Reading List. First, click on the "Blogs I'm Following" tab under "My Reading List" on your Blogger Dashboard.
Then, click on the blue "Add" button in the bottom left corner of your Reading List.
Next, insert the URL of the blog you'd like to follow in the URL box. You can add as many blogs as you'd like by clicking on "Add another". When you have added all of your favorite blogs, click the orange "Add" button.
You'll then be given the option to either follow publicly or anonymously:
Once you've decided on following publicly or anonymously, click the orange "Follow" button and that's it! You've added all your favorite blogs to your Reading List! Now, every time one of the blogs are updated the latest post will be displayed in your reading list under the "Items" section.
Additionally, adding a blog to your Reading List will create a subscription to the blog in your Google Reader account.
How to remove a blog from your Reading List
To remove a blog from your Reading List, go to the "Blogs I'm Following" tab under your Reading List on your dashboard.

Ikhtisar Teknologi
Google berdiri sendiri dengan fokusnya untuk mengembangkan “mesin pencarian yang sempurna”, sesuai yang dicanangkan oleh salah seorang pendiri, Larry Page, sebagai sesuatu yang “benar-benar mengerti apa yang Anda maksudkan dan memberikan apa yang memang Anda inginkan”. Karena itu, Google secara gigih terus berinovasi dan tidak menyerah pada keterbatasan model yang ada saat ini. Sebagai hasilnya, Google mengembangkan infrastruktur layanan milik sendiri dan terobosan teknologi PageRank™ yang mengubah cara melakukan pencarian.
Sejak semula, para pengembang Google mengetahui bahwa penyediaan hasil yang tercepat dan paling akurat memerlukan bentuk penyiapan server yang berbeda. Sementara kebanyakan mesin pencari menjalankan beberapa server besar yang sering melambat di saat beban maksimum, Google menggunakan PC yang tersambung untuk cepat menemukan jawaban pertanyaan. Inovasi ini berhasil mewujudkan waktu respons yang lebih cepat, jangkauan yang lebih luas, dan biaya yang lebih rendah. Ide ini telah ditiru oleh pihak lain, sementara Google terus menyempurnakan teknologi pendukungnya untuk membuatnya jauh lebih efisien.
Perangkat lunak di balik teknologi pencarian Google menjalankan serangkaian kalkulasi secara serempak yang hanya membutuhkan waktu kurang dari satu detik. Mesin pencarian tradisional sangat mengandalkan pada seberapa sering suatu kata muncul di halaman web. Google menggunakan PageRank™ untuk menguji seluruh struktur link di web dan menentukan halaman manakah yang paling penting. PageRank kemudian menjalankan analisis pencocokan hypertext untuk menentukan halaman mana yang relevan dengan pencarian khusus yang diminta. Dengan menggabungkan seluruh kepentingan dan relevansi khusus pertanyaan, Google mampu menempatkan hasil paling relevan dan dapat dipercaya di baris paling atas.

Teknologi PageRank: PageRank mengukur kepentingan halaman web yang objektif dengan memecahkan persamaan lebih dari 500 juta variabel dan 2 miliar istilah. Alih-alih menghitung link langsung, PageRank menafsirkan sebuah link dari Halaman A ke Halaman B sebagai pilihan untuk Halaman B melalui Halaman A. Kemudian PageRank menilai pentingnya halaman melalui jumlah pilihan yang diterima.
PageRank juga mempertimbangkan pentingnya setiap halaman yang menentukan pilihan, selama pilihan dari beberapa halaman dianggap memiliki nilai yang lebih penting, sehingga halaman terkait memiliki nilai yang jauh lebih bermakna. Halaman yang penting akan menerima nilai PageRank yang lebih tinggi dan akan muncul di bagian paling atas pada hasil pencarian. Teknologi Google menggunakan inteligensi kolektif dari web untuk menentukan kepentingan halaman. Tidak ada keterlibatan atau manipulasi manusia untuk hasil pencariannya, dan itulah sebabnya pengguna sampai mempercayai Google sebagai sumber informasi yang objektif dan tidak terganggu oleh penempatan yang dibayar.

Analisis Pencocokan Hypertext:Mesin pencarian Google juga menganalisis konten halaman. Namun, daripada hanya sekadar membaca sepintas teks berdasarkan halaman (yang dapat dimanipulasi oleh penerbit situs melalui meta-tag), teknologi Google menganalisis keseluruhan konten halaman dan berbagai faktor berupa font, subdivisi, dan lokasi yang sesungguhnya dari setiap kata. Google juga menganalisis konten halaman web di sekitarnya untuk memastikan hasil yang disampaikan adalah yang paling relevan bagi pertanyaan yang diajukan oleh pengguna.
Inovasi Google tidak berhenti pada desktop. Untuk menghadirkan hasil pencarian yang akurat dan cepat bagi pengguna yang mengakses web melalui perangkat portable, Google juga memelopori teknologi pencarian nirkabel pertama untuk penerjemahan sambil menjelajah dari HTML menjadi format yang dioptimalkan untuk WAP, i-mode, J-SKY, dan EZWeb. Kini, Google menyediakan teknologi nirkabel ini pada sejumlah pemimpin pasar, antara lain AT & T Wireless, Sprint PCS, Nextel, Palm, Handspring, dan Vodafone.

Jangka waktu pertanyaan Google biasanya berlangsung kurang dari setengah detik, namun dalam waktu sesingkat itu pula, ada beberapa langkah yang harus dilewati sebelum hasilnya dapat dikirimkan kepada orang yang mencari informasi.
